Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information Prêt Rapide collects, why, who it is shared with and how to exercise your rights.

Who we are
Prêt Rapide operates www.pretrapide.ai, an online service that connects businesses looking for financing with partner lenders. Prêt Rapide is based in Montreal, Quebec.
We handle your personal information in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25, and other applicable laws.
Information we collect
When you fill out our application form, we collect:
- the amount of financing you are looking for;
- your full name;
- your business name;
- your email address;
- your phone number.
If you reach our site through an advertising or promotional link, we also collect, when they appear in the page address, campaign parameters (for example utm_source or utm_campaign) and ad click identifiers (for example gclid). This information is attached to your application so we know where it came from.
When you browse the site, our hosting provider and the measurement tools described below may also collect technical information, such as your IP address, the type of browser used and the pages visited.
Why we use it
- To process your financing application and send it to lenders in order to obtain offers for your business.
- To allow lenders and our representatives to contact you about your application.
- To measure the effectiveness of our advertising, including the number of applications coming from our ads.
- To keep the site secure and working properly.
We use your information only for these purposes, or for purposes that are compatible with them or permitted by law.
Who we share it with
To obtain financing offers, the information in your application is shared with:
- a lead distribution partner, meaning a technology platform that receives your application and routes it to lenders;
- partner lenders likely to finance your business, which may contact you and which handle your information under their own privacy policies;
- our service providers, such as our hosting provider (Vercel) and Google (ad conversion measurement), to the extent required for their services.
By submitting the form, you consent to your information being shared with these third parties for the purposes described above. Your information is not shared for other purposes without your consent, unless permitted or required by law.
Transfers outside Quebec
Some of our service providers and partners may store or process information outside Quebec, including elsewhere in Canada or in the United States. When this happens, we take into account the sensitivity of the information and the safeguards offered by those providers.
Cookies and measurement tools
Our site uses the Google Ads tag (gtag.js) to measure conversions, that is, to know whether an application was submitted after a click on one of our ads. This tag may place cookies or use similar technologies in your browser. Google handles this data under its own privacy rules.
The site also temporarily keeps the campaign parameters mentioned above in your browser's session storage; this data is cleared when you close the tab.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and manage your ad preferences in your Google account. The site remains usable if you refuse cookies.
Retention
We keep your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. It is then destroyed or anonymized. Information shared with partner lenders is retained by them under their own policies.
Security
Information sent through our form is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). We limit access to information to the people and providers who need it to deliver the service. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your rights
Subject to the exceptions provided by law, you may:
- request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- request the correction of inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous information;
- withdraw your consent to its sharing or use;
- request that your computerized information be provided to you in a structured, commonly used technological format.
To exercise these rights, write to our privacy officer (see below). We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
